Sell Stuff on eBay is a registered business located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts and specializes in selling laptop computers as well as electronics on eBay.  ***UPDATE*** As of April 2009 we will be relocating to the Great North Woods of New Hampshire.  New Consignments are not being accepted until the summer time because of this. Sell Stuff on eBay accepts local consignments for high value items if you wish to list them for sale on eBay.  Any item we accept on consignment must be in our possession for us to be able to legally sell them on your behalf. Since we are NOT licensed auto dealers we can not sell cars, boats, RV's, etc on eBay.

In addition to consignment sales we can also help you set up your own eBay business as independent contractors, take high quality digital photos of your items that you want to market, clean out storage units and entire estates and repair your laptop computers.

If I am not familiar with the type of item you want to sell, I take my own time to research the product and become familiar with it before I list it for sale.  I pride myself on details in my listings.  Sell Stuff on eBay differs from some other companies because we never take an item on consignment until we research it for you at no cost or obligation and we NEVER charge an upfront listing fee.  If we list your item for sale and it does not sell, you owe me nothing.  No cash upfront for eBay listings.  We only get paid when YOU get paid.

Q: How much do you charge to sell my stuff on eBay?

Answer: I charge a percentage of the final selling price of your item plus actual eBay and PayPal fees.  If you are selling an item worth less then $1,000 our percentage is generally 35% of the selling price plus fees.  Business liquidation prices differ and each and every item may vary.  The more an item is worth, the less we charge for a commission.  Our fee for eBay listings never is greater then 35% of the final selling price plus eBay and PayPal Fees.

Q: Are there items that you do not accept for consignment?

Answer: Yes.  We can not accept automobiles, RV's, Boats, Motorcycles, used shoes, and household furniture for sale on eBay.  For household furniture we have the option to list it for sale locally but it is typically a hard sell.

Q: I do not live near you but I want you to sell my stuff on eBay.  Can I just send you some pictures of the stuff and you sell it for me?

Answer: No we can not accept items for sale on a consignment basis unless they are in our possession.  The reason is that when we are listing items for sale on eBay we are entering into a LEGALLY binding contract to sell the item to the winning bidder.  If the item is not in our control we can not be sure that it can be shipped out and we would not be able to examine it to accurately describe the item to potential buyers.  If you are located outside of our local area and would like us to list your items for sale on eBay you would have to mail the items to us at your own expense.  If the items do not sell successfully you would have to also have to pay to have them shipped back to you or sign a release form to donate the items to charity.

Q: I want to clean out my house, storage unit, office, etc...How much do you charge for this service?

Answer: There are a few different options for our clean out services, depending on your needs.  Our hourly rate is $25.00 per hour plus disposal fees.  Alternatively we sometimes can offer our services on a barter arrangement where if you have items in the cleanout we can keep the items in exchange for the labor of the cleanout.  This varies on a case by case basis and is determined at the initial assessment.

Q: How much do you charge to repair my laptop computer?

Answer: Laptop computers vary so greatly with prices of parts as well as what can go wrong with them.  Prices differ depending on these factors.  Our hourly bench fee is $50.00 an hour and parts are in addition to this hourly rate, if needed.
